Kimbia (Acquired by GiveGab in 2017) provides an online fundraising and crowdfunding offering. The software platform is flexible and contains embeddable forms that work on any website eliminating the requirements to style a separate website wrapper, learn a content management system, and have a site that looks like every other client using the system. Kimbia needed a development team to maintain the platform and to help the services group with client customizations.

Build a small Development and QA team to handle client customization but also to  maintain the platform’s Java backend, the Client Administration front end which was built with PHP (Laravel)/HTML/CSS/JavaScript and the User front end which was built with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Multiplied provided development for the customization of the final user sites, bug fixing and features implementation on the Client Administration System, and feature implementation, bug fixing and data management for the custom GiveMN client system, as well as Linux server administration including proxy configuration using NGINX and Database configuration and reporting.

Multiplied also provided the testing of the underlying platform for organizing donation campaigns and events, as well as testing the donation widgets that allow users to provide money to their preferred Non-Profit Organization (NPO). As part of our service, we tested and validated credit/debit card processes against several Payment Processors and Gateways and we provided test validation to ensure donors can access and donate money through different user experiences including all Mobile and PC browsers.

Different fundraisers with different needs are able to use the platform to build campaigns with multiple options, great stability to handle huge events or a small number of donators without worrying about all the technology and only focus on what they care most; secure money payment options, a big number of different reports and options to get donations are just part of the solution.
